To the Mara

We left Kisumu and drove south,
past busy markets and tea fields,
over bumpy roads and speed bumps,
beside Masai villages and mud huts,
to a place called Mara Safari Club, where we hopped into a Toyota Land Cruiser, and ventured out onto the Savannah. Before long, we were seeing exotic animals up close and personal...

African Elephants
Giraffes
A pride of lions waking up...
and the dominant male, who even gave us a few yawns.
Lots of zebra...
Lots of wilderbeast and wart hogs...
Cape buffalo...
Impalas, gazelles and more....
We have an incredible tour guide name Antony who will be with us during our stay...He is very gifted in giving us information about the animals. It truly has been the very best science class I ever attended.

We were able to watch a lioness stalking a herd of zebra, but she gave up after she was spotted...

I stand amazed again at the creation of God and how He tenderly looks out for all....big and small...

At the end of the day, we came back to a candle lit dinner and then to our bed in a tent(glorified).
And because that bed is waiting, and because I am exhausted, I am signing off for tonight...
God Bless!!
