The clothing give away/sale was right after dismissal.
When the doors opened, the ladies literally ran into the building, snatching up things on the run.
Spoke to me of greed that as cultured American Mennonites, we mask a little more discreetly...
These ladies were so excited about getting some clothes..
The men were excited, too, though a little less dramatic :)
Marlin and Darla had taken a black trash bag filled with empty container. Anything from yogurt containers to 2L pop bottles to gallon oil jugs. I looked into the bag and thought they had mistakenly brought their recycle bin...but the ladies quickly snatched them up...

We bounced home....which I find very tiring!
This was a particularly bad stretch of road...
Paneer and butter nons and rice and those spuds(can't remember what they're called)
Wonderful Asian food..
and fine fellowship....
Memories as the children played relays and cards and various stunts in the beautiful lawn...
and laughter from the pier...We only wish we had spotted a hippo or two, but it was not to be...
Tomorrow we leave early and drive 4 hrs to the Masai Mara and will return Saturday afternoon....
I love reading Darla's blog and hopped over from there to read about your adventures. Thoroughly enjoyed reading your stories!
